Easy to maintain
All maintenance points are accessible from above, with no digging: usually one visit a year, carried out by a specialist company in your region. After a power cut, the control unit restarts on its own.

Low running costs
Few wearing parts and power consumption comparable to a small circulation pump. Correctly sized and properly maintained, the PUMP runs for decades, at far lower cost than a septic tank run with chemicals.

Quick installation
The PUMP arrives pre-assembled. The tank is placed, the inlet and outlet are connected and the K-PILOT control unit is switched on: depending on size, the plant is installed in one to three days.

Correct use
What must not go into the plant?
The PUMP works with living microorganisms. That is why nothing that harms the biology or blocks the pipes and pumps should go down the drain:
- Chemicals, paints, solvents and pesticides
- Chlorine, disinfectants and harsh cleaners
- Medicines
- Oils, cooking fats and food scraps
- Wet wipes, nappies, tampons, sanitary pads and cotton buds
- Cigarette ends, textiles, cat litter and other solid waste
- Cement, adhesives and building rubble
In short: only domestic wastewater and toilet paper go down the drain.
What is included
The components of the PUMP.
The technology comes from Germany, with the heavy-duty plastic tank delivered ready to install. Alternatively, the tank can be built in concrete on your site, although in most projects the delivered plastic tank is cheaper and quicker.

PUMP unit
The compact unit with the SBR pump technology. It sits inside the tank and is lifted out from above for servicing.

K-PILOT control unit
The plant's control unit, installed in a dry place outside the tank. You simply plug it in: it runs the cycles and reports faults. After a power cut it restarts on its own.

Plastic tank
The standard solution: delivered ready to install, made of heavy-duty plastic and with up to 25 years of manufacturer's warranty. The warranty on the tank material is based on our statistics and tests, see the Installation and Operating Manual.

Alternative: concrete tank
Only when the project requires it: a local construction company builds the tank in concrete on your site, following AQUATO's drawings. We take care of the drawings, the technology and the coordination with that company, so you have a single point of contact. Because it is built on site, this option needs a little more planning in advance. In most cases, the delivered plastic tank is cheaper and quicker.

Technical data
PUMP models at a glance.
Two sizes cover everything from a single-family home to a small group of homes: 4 to 16 PE and 17 to 28 PE. The final values depend on the project; we review them with you during the consultation. As a complete plant, the PUMP carries the CE mark to EN 12566-3. With the corresponding additional stages it also achieves D+P (phosphorus) and D+H (hygienisation). The treatment performance is CE certified to EN 12566-3 and comfortably meets the limits of the corresponding effluent class; we review the specific percentages for your project during the consultation. Power consumption is low, with an automatic energy-saving mode when the inflow is low.

The tanks for the PUMP.
The PUMP is installed in the walk-on KL-06 plastic tank: one tank up to 8 PE, two tanks above that. From 17 to 28 PE it goes into a concrete tank built on site. The delivered plastic tank comes with up to 25 years of manufacturer's warranty.

Two ways to receive your plant.
The technology comes from Germany. For the tank there are two routes, which we recommend depending on location and budget.

Recommended Option A
Complete plant from Germany, with plastic tank.
The pump, electronics, control unit and high-strength plastic tank arrive from AQUATO configured and factory-tested. On site, all that remains is excavation, placement and connection.
Why we recommend it:
In most projects, the delivered plastic tank works out cheaper than a concrete tank built on site, and it is installed much faster.
The tank arrives watertight and factory-tested, with up to 25 years' manufacturer's warranty.
What you receive:

Option B · Alternative
Technology from Germany, concrete tank built on site.
The pump, electronics and control unit come from the AQUATO factory. Your local partner builds the tank in concrete according to the AQUATO plan (dimensions, reinforcement, connections).
When it makes sense:
Only when the project requires it, for example for very large volumes or when concrete construction is taking place on site anyway. In most cases, the delivered plastic option is more economical.
What you receive:
- Pump module and electronics from AQUATO Germany, ready to operate
- AQUATO plans for building the concrete tank
- Support with the on-site acceptance inspection
- CE conformity through the technical set; the warranty remains in place
For the PUMP, the tank ranges from the compact model to multi-part designs. The delivered plastic tank is usually the most economical and fastest option.
During the consultation we recommend the right option for you. In most South American projects, the delivered plastic plant (Option A) is the most economical.

In small new-build projects, the PUMP is the economical standard solution. If you want maximum durability, choose the STABI-KOM; for larger projects, the ORKA.

For cabins and small guesthouses: a 16 PE PUMP serves up to four cabins with 16 people in total. Where occupancy varies a lot, we recommend the STABI-KOM.
