With PUMP and STABI-KOM, the treatment technology is already fitted inside the tank when it reaches you. You buy directly from us, collect the plant at the port and install it according to the manual. For any technical question, Ektennsa in Germany is there to back you up, just an email away.
The model
There is not yet a local partner everywhere. For those who want to handle the installation themselves, there is the direct route: you buy the plant from us, receive it from Germany and take care of the rest, with our documentation and our support. How it works, from the first enquiry to commissioning, is set out step by step in the direct purchase guide.
You collect the AQUATO plant at the port, transport it to your site, install it according to the manual and run it. You do the routine maintenance yourself, using the protocol we give you.
You are not on your own: every step is documented, and if something comes up that you cannot solve, you write to us and we coordinate the solution from Germany, with AQUATO behind us.
How to reach us
If the control unit shows a problem you cannot solve on your own, an email to Ektennsa in Germany is all it takes. We coordinate the solution and, if needed, bring in AQUATO. You are not on your own, even if you run the plant yourself.
You do it yourself. The technical backup comes from Germany.

What the direct route looks like
You buy the plant directly from us, at a better price: without the margin a distributor normally charges. We deliver it to the port and send you all the import documents, together with the dimensions and weight of your plant, by email or by UPS.
With the installation manual in Spanish (in English on request) and the AQUATO drawings, you prepare the site, install the plant and commission it yourself.
You carry out the routine maintenance yourself, following the protocol. You receive spare parts from Germany through Ektennsa, without depending on a visit for everyday matters.
For a technical question or a special case, Ektennsa coordinates the solution from Germany, with AQUATO's factory know-how.
The installation
Five steps any construction company knows. The details are in the manual, in Spanish or, on request, in English.
The excavation is half a metre larger than the tank on each side. The required depth is in the drawings we send you.
At the bottom goes a compacted layer of round gravel, 15 to 20 cm thick, level and even.
The plastic tank is light: a 6,500-litre tank weighs about 220 kg empty. It is placed with a small excavator and then filled with water up to one third.
The space around the tank is backfilled with gravel in layers, compacted by hand. Inlet and outlet are connected with a slight slope.
An electrician connects the power. After that, the control unit is simply plugged in, you choose the language and the plant size, and the plant runs automatically.
Robust by design
The K-Pilot control unit is made to operate without you having to keep an eye on it. During a power cut, the control unit raises an alarm, and when the power comes back it restarts on its own and the plant resumes its cycle.
If the control unit shows a message, it appears in English with the details of the case. You forward it to us in Germany by email, and we take care of it as soon as possible. According to our statistics, it is almost always a minor matter: the system is practically fail-safe.
That is what this technology is made for: buy, ship, install on site. Our own plant in Chile has followed this route since 2015 and has run since then without any interventions worth mentioning. Once installed and connected, it works day to day without you having to do anything.

Frequently asked questions
Not for everyone, but the difficulty lies somewhere other than many people assume. With PUMP and STABI-KOM, the AQUATO technology arrives already fitted inside the tank, so you do not assemble anything. What you do need to organise is everything around it: import and customs, transport from the port, excavation and the connections on site. If you are up for that, or have someone to do it for you, the direct route is open. If you would rather have a local company take care of everything, we will point you to a local partner where one exists, and we will support you all the same.
The excavation and the pit, the power connection and transport from the port to your site are your responsibility. Once those are ready, installation according to the manual is straightforward.
Usually about two months: around one month of preparation and one month of sea freight to the port. From the port, you organise the import and the transport to your site.
The installation and user manual is in Spanish; on request we send it to you in English. Messages from the control unit appear in English; if one appears that you cannot resolve, you forward it to us by email and we coordinate the solution from Germany.
Nothing. During the cut, the control unit warns you with a battery-powered alarm. When the power comes back, it restarts on its own and the plant resumes its cycle.

The tanks have a 25-year warranty and the control unit a 2-year warranty. The condition is that installation and use follow the manual. We agree the exact terms for the direct route with you before you buy.
By bank transfer to our business account in Germany, from your own bank. You do not need to open an account with any particular bank. The account operates in euros; amounts in other currencies are converted automatically on arrival. Important for a SWIFT transfer: in addition to our BIC, you must enter the BIC of the correspondent bank Wise, otherwise the money will not arrive. If your online banking has no field for it, ask your bank's back office. The full bank details, with both BICs, are in the legal notice.
